The last leg of the Magenta Line began operations on Tuesday. more-inThe first day of passenger operations on the Delhi Metro’s entire Magenta Line saw a ridership of over two lakh passengers, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Wednesday. The first leg of the Magenta Line, from Botanical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir, was thrown open to the public in December last year. DMRC officials said that prior to opening the second leg of the Magenta Line, the ridership was over 81,000. Ease of travelThe Magenta Line promises to reduce travel time between Gurugram and Noida to 50 minutes as opposed to the 90 minutes that it took earlier.
