Some 109 customers at a Tsim Sha Tsui bar, including 28 minors, were fined for breaching social distancing rules in the early hours today. The bar’s operator and two male staff members, aged from 23 to 34, were also arrested for violating the nighttime dine-in ban at eateries during 2am and 4:59am. Officers then issued a fixed penalty notice to 68 male and 41 female customers aged between 13 and 60 at the scene. No more than four people are allowed to sit at a table in bars, and they must wear masks while away from the table. Customers who failed to abide by social distancing regulations at bars and restaurants could be subject to HK$2,000 fine.
