November 24, 2020 by Mihi Perera No CommentsThe National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated that 1,039 police officers have been tested positive for COVID 19. This includes 238 Special Task Force members. Around 3000 officers were placed under quarantine due to COVID 19 infection in the police department during the second wave of pandemic.
