Out Wide, Patriots Have Let NFL Draft's First Round Pass By

ASSOCIATED PRESSThe New England Patriots have never taken a wide receiver in the first round of the NFL draft under head coach Bill Belichick. Over Belichick’s tenure in the war room, the Patriots have filled out draft cards for 16 wide receivers: Deion Branch, David Givens, Bethel Johnson, P.K. Two apiece arrived in the third round, fourth round and fifth round.
