Originally rumoured to have suffered a knock in training yesterday, attempts to quell any panic were made through a social media post from the Catalans which read that “During this morning’s training session, Ousmane Dembélé felt some discomfort in his right leg as a consequence of muscle fatigue”. “He will continue with his rehabilitation,” it was concluded. Crocked in the competition against former club Borussia Dortmund in a Group F clash on November 27, the 22-year-old was brought off in tears on 26 minutes during the vital 3-1 win. As pointed out by Spanish journalist Albert Ortega, there have been nine of them in total thus far resulting in an absence of 332 days and 63 matches from the pitch.
