I have previously reported about an ongoing effort by fans to make their displeasure known by taking down Warcraft 3: Reforged’s Metacritic user score down as low as it could possibly go. By contrast, Overwatch, Blizzard’s enormous flagship game, only has 5,500 user scores logged on PC. Even though I agree that Warcraft deserves all the pushback it’s getting, something about the term itself is setting people off. And he was still yelled at for even using the term “review-bombing” at all. I’m not entirely sure, but I think we need to define what exactly review-bombing is, because it seems to be unclear to both sides of this debate to some extent.
