There was a glimmer of hope the day before, when garden staff caught and relocated one koi to the Vancouver Aquarium. Garden staff caught one koi and relocated it to @vancouveraqua and are trying to save the remaining fish. Staff wading in the ponds have stirred up a bed of clay, clouding the water and alerting the koi. The one koi caught so far has been relocated to the Vancouver Aquarium for now.
