We badly needed some rain and we sure got it. But now the temperature has dropped and that should persist throughout the week in Ottawa-Gatineau. Monday's weather forecast calls for a sunny start to the day with a mix of sun and cloud in the morning. A northwest wind at 30 kilometres per hour should gust to 50 in the morning as the high hits 7 C.Tonight should be mainly cloudy with that northwest wind gusting from 20 to 40 km/h, then becoming light overnight. The low is, yes, a frosty –1 C.Tuesday will be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon.
