Opposition to Ontario’s sex ed curriculum has dropped by more than 10 per cent since it was introduced: Poll

Opposition to Ontario’s new sex ed curriculum has declined by about 10 per cent in the 18 months since it was introduced, a new poll shows. In February 2015, right after the province’s new health and physical education curriculum was introduced, 44 per cent of Ontarians told Forum they disapproved of the program of study. Over 18 months later, just 33 per cent of the 1,154 voters surveyed by Forum last week said they “disapprove” of the curriculum. About a fifth (17 per cent then and 20 per cent now) still have no opinion. His party sent out a letter, in English and Mandarin, denouncing the new curriculum, something Brown took a few days to repudiate with an online op-ed.
