I have always drawn cartoons, even when I was a little kid. My father is an animator, and drawing was the main thing we had in common. For years I produced huge quantities of cartoons, mainly for my own amusement, and dreamt of being a full-time cartoonist. In September 1992 I started to study law, and it occurred to me I could take the same characters, stick wigs on them and turn them into barristers. Suddenly it worked; this was the era of ambulance chasing and the OJ Simpson trial — everyone wanted to make fun of lawyers.…
