Three Swedish men have been arrested in Thailand following a multinational crackdown on a transnational network accused of running online narcotics markets on the darknet. Investigators believe the suspects used rented luxury pool villas as bases to remotely manage online drug distribution. Mr Lind, arrested at a rented house in Bangkok's Wang Thonglang district, had lived in Thailand for about 13 years. The other suspects were detained at a rented residence in Prachuap Khiri Khan after staying in Thailand for three and four years respectively. The other two suspects were transferred to the Immigration Bureau's detention centre in Bangkok as inquiries into the case continue.
