KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry has activated Operasi Payung (Ops Payung) to enable centralised examination to be conducted in flood-hit areas across the country. “Strict procedures are followed to ensure that the examination is carried out as planned," he said. Amin also said that all Principals and Heads of the examination centres had been briefed on the procedures in Ops Payung and ‘Prosedur Kes Bencana Alam’. “In Penang, for instance, MES took immediate action by reaching out to the students who needed to be relocated before the examination took place. “MES had successfully reached out to these students in various ways including through phone call and text messages."
