Bangladesh lost both the openers in back to back overs in the first innings and the same scenario was repeated in the second innings. Both the openers again departed in successive overs, first Imrul in the last ball of the sixth over and then Shadman in the last ball of the seventh over. And the common thing is, Bangladesh were right under pressure in the first hour of a day’s play on two occasions. In the second innings, both the openers got cleaned up as their stumps were uprooted by Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma. Not a happy sight for an opening batsman but in contrast, obviously a great scene for a fast bowler.
