With this week’s province-wide warning shot, and next week’s targeted strike planned for Toronto schools, it’s tempting to conclude that Ontario’s Tories and teachers are fighting to the finish. There is no end in sight, because there is no easy way for the two sides to finish what they started. If you listen to both sides, Tories and teachers, it’s all about the students. And it has been a long time since an Ontario government has pushed so hard to make it so easy for teachers’ unions to push back.
