The December 17 Referendum is targetted at amending Article 55(3) of the 1992 constitution. ''Among the 67% of affirmative respondents that will turn out to vote in the referendum, 75% indicated that they will vote “YES”, 12% said “NO” and 13% refused to disclose their voting preference,'' he added. The ILGS also mentioned that there are more voters in the NDC strongholds that would participate in the referendum than NPP. This shows that 72 % of registered voters in the NDC stronghold will participate in the referendum compared to 66% in the NPP strongholds.
