"We will be adding L1 support to the OP5T and OP5," notes OnePlus after several OnePlus 5T users took to the OnePlus forum to complain about the lack of support for Widevine Level 1 DRM support on the OnePlus 5T and in turn not able to stream HD videos. OnePlus 5T, as well as the OnePlus 5, doesn't let you stream high definition videos. This was noted by a OnePlus 5T user in a thread on the OnePlus forums. OnePlus 5T currently comes with Widevine Level 3 support which only streams standard definition videos and doesn't support HD streaming. Note: None of the OnePlus devices -- as of yet -- come with the correct DRM level support for HD playback on services such as Netflix.
