Highlights 1 Ahmedabad cops deny permission for PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi roadshows. Today promised to be an exciting day with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, each leading a strident poll campaign, both in the same city - Ahmedabad. Police suggested that ensuring security and law and order would be a nightmare if both PM Modi and Gandhi were out on the streets. The Prime Minister's roadshow was supposed to take him from Dharnidhar Derasar in west Ahmedbad to the Sabarmati Riverfront. Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, was to travel from Jamalpur in east Ahmedbad to Memco, located on the outskirts of the city.
