The parents of a one-year-old baby have begged others to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously after their child became 'infected with the disease'. Jessie and Joe Mitchell were forced to call 111 on Mother's Day after their son Perran came down with a 'roaring temperature'. Mother Jessie, 32, and Perran's father Joe, 33, said they thought the youngster had been 'badly teething'. Joe has now urged people to follow government guidelines and urged others to stop buying things they didn't need. 'A baby or healthy 30-year-old might be okay, but it is the vulnerable people they might give it to that will die.'
