One person is dead after a house fire in Prince Albert. Police and fire crews responded to the house fire in the 100 block of 18th Street East at 7:42 a.m. CST on Wednesday. Police said the victim was removed from the home and treated by paramedics, but was "pronounced deceased at [the] scene." Damage is visible from the outside of the home on 18th Street East, with the roof partially collapsed. The Prince Albert Police Service's major crimes unit is working with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to investigate.
