VANCOUVER—One person is in custody and one person was airlifted to hospital after a possible shooting in Salmon Arm, B.C. Salmon Arm RCMP say they are responding to a serious incident, which they say is a possible shooting, in the city, about 100 kilometres north of Kelowna. According to social media reports, the Church of Christ in Salmon Arm had a large RCMP presence Sunday following an unspecified incident that may have taken place there. He adds “there is no active or ongoing threat.” One person was airlifted to hospital after BC Emergency Health Services received a call about an incident at the Church of Christ. It was unclear if one of the initial patients is the man in custody.
