One man is dead after a shooting at a small church in Salmon Arm, B.C., on Sunday, and police have a suspect in custody. Family members have confirmed that the victim is Gordon Parmenter, an elder at the Salmon Arm Church of Christ. Chris Manseau, Salmon Arm RCMP have a suspect in custody and there is no active or ongoing threat to the public. My daughter was in church in Salmon Arm today when a gunman walked in. First responders were called to the Salmon Arm Church of Christ on 5th Avenue on Sunday April 14, 2019 around 10:30 a.m. PT.
