Officers charged to hold balloting for three candidates ahead of the party’s parliamentary primary in the Constituency were shocked on Saturday morning to see the sliding door of the office vandalized. The computer, as well as documents to be used for the exercise were missing. The party had to postpone the balloting after reporting the crime to the Somanya District Police, whose swift investigations led to the arrest. The police have assured that they will get to the bottom of the case.
