Two pedestrians were struck by man driving a truck on Monday night in Toronto, leaving one dead and other with injuries. Police responded to reports of a “failure to remain” collision in the Cherry and Polson Street area, just after 9 p.m.One man was missing vital signs when Toronto police arrived and was later pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The other man is being assessed for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver is a man five foot 10 inches tall, in his late 20s with a slim build. He appears to be wearing a white shirt and black pants, the police said in a tweet.
