One killed after truck crashes on Orari-Rangitata HighwayMytchall Bransgrove A man has died following a truck crash north of Timaru. A man has died after a truck and trailer crashed on the Orari-Rangitata Highway, north of Timaru. Police have confirmed the male driver of the truck died following the crash, near the intersection of Looker Rd and State Highway 1, east of Belfield. The police serious crash unit is at the scene of the crash. The Rangitata Volunteer Fire Force also was at the scene, a Fire Service spokesman said.
