Emergency services responded to a car vs truck crash in Southland on Wednesday morning. A person has been taken to Southland Hospital with moderate injuries after a truck and a car collided. The crash happened on the Wyndham Rd near Shanks Rd. A police spokeswoman said the crash happened at 8.50am. Fulton Hogan worker Rob Michelle said he saw the car as it was leaving the crash site and the front of it was “a bit stoved in”.
