Nyeri businessman Elijah Nderitu was driving into his home near Outspan College at around 11:30pm when two armed robbers attacked him and forcibly entered his house. Nderitu who works as a distributor for a soft drink company raised the alarm, prompting his neighbour to alert a local security firm who informed the police. According to Nyeri OCPD Muinde Kioko, one robber was killed in an ensuing shootout between the robbers and the police.
