One person has died in a serious crash near Raetihi. (File photo)One person has died following a serious crash south of Raetihi in the central North Island. Firefighters from Raetihi rushed to the scene, finding one person trapped in the vehicle, Fire and Emergency spokesman Mike Wanoa said. The road was blocked at the intersection of SH4 and Alexandra Rd as the police serious crash unit investigate the cause of the crash, a police spokesman said. PowerCo has also cut power to 42 homes following the crash.
