The crash happened on Port Hills Rd in Heathcote near the intersection with Bridle Path Rd at about 11.20am on Sunday. A police spokeswoman said there were no other vehicles involved in the incident. One person was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition, a St John Ambulance spokeswoman said.
