One person is dead after a truck and a car collided just north of Napier's airport this afternoon. Emergency services were called to the scene on Main North Rd, State Highway 2, shortly after 2pm. SH2 is blocked, near Watchman Road, and motorists were advised to expect delays. A police spokeswoman said diversions had been put in place at Hill Rd and Bay View.
