Emergency Services were called to the crash at Waitete Road in Te Kuiti. One person has died after a single-car crash on State Highway 30 in Te Kuiti on Monday evening. An occupant - still trapped in the vehicle - was confirmed dead, Fire Communications shift manager Scott Osmond said. Two others were transported to hospital in an ambulance with moderate injuries, police said in a statement. The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
