One person has been killed in a crash on SH29 in the lower Kaimai, Bay of Plenty. Two cars collided near McLaren Falls Rd, police said. An ambulance spokeswoman said one person was still on the scene in a serious condition, while another person was being taken to hospital with moderate injuries. The road is partially closed while the Serious Crash Unit is in attendance. Traffic can get through but police advise people there will be significant delays.
