The arrestee Md Fahad, 30, was detained from his Mirpur Maddha Paikpara house at around 1:30am on Friday, a Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) release said. Fahad took Tk1,35,000 from victim Imtiyaj in early August to give him a modified bike, but wasn’t giving him his bike. Imtiyaj finally lodged a case against Fahad and police arrested him in connection with the case. Police said Fahad has so far realized huge a sum from motorbike enthusiasts through cheating.
