When the weeds along a sidewalk are so tall and thick that pedestrians joke about getting lost in them, it’s time for somebody to get clipping. The toronto.ca website notes that the city’s municipal code “includes rules about height requirements of grass, weeds and vegetation on private properties, including any publicly-owned portions. A guy came along while I was taking photos and said he likes to stroll through the tall weeds. Another two pedestrians who regularly walk along that stretch of sidewalk said that lately they’ve been joking about getting lost in them. The city will be working with the property owner or occupier to cut the grass as soon as possible.”
