A man is dead after a shooting in Westown Plaza in Etobicoke. Police were called to the intersection of Dixon and Islington Road, after gunshots were heard around 12 a.m. Tuesday. He was rushed to hospital, but ultimately pronounced dead on scene. The shooting has been ruled a homicide by police and is under investigation. This is Toronto’s 37th homicide victim this year.
