President Trump and many of his top aides have expressed skepticism about climate change, while others say human activity is to blame for global warming. In particular, he questioned whether it was EPA’s role to regulate carbon dioxide emissions — something undertaken through the agency’s Clean Power Plan, the Obama administration’s most significant policy to combat climate change — and challenged the Paris agreement on climate change. The EPA’s “Climate Change” website states the following:Recent climate changes, however, cannot be explained by natural causes alone.
