MANILA, Philippines — Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez has ordered city law enforcers to file complaints against negligent parents who would allow their children to leave their homes without wearing face masks or go outside during curfew hours. “Olivarez directed city police chief PCol. Robin King Sarmiento to file charges against negligent parents who let their children go out in public without face masks and during curfew hours,” read the statement from Parañaque Public Information Office on Thursday. Olivarez noted that even if villages Barangay BF Homes was placed under lockdown, the village still recorded the highest number of COVID-19 infections in the city with 295 cases.
