A new study uses government data to examine the areas with the most and least garden space across the country. As a result, MG Timber has compiled a 'garden space report' which ranks the best and worst places people in Greater Manchester can purchase a home with a garden - and Oldham fares the worst for outdoor space. By comparison, it found Oldham is the worst area with the lowest amount of private green spaces for homes, with just 12,971,358m2. Wigan followed shortly behind Stockport in second place, with a garden space area of 23,764,528m2. Manchester came in third place with the most homegrown green space at 20,298,422m2.
