A proposal was submitted in August last year to build the unit on land off Tweedale Way in a business park in Hollinwood. The application, submitted by Rigg Tech Group Ltd, looks to build a three-storey unit on currently undeveloped land. Now, the plans can go ahead after the meeting of the committee on Wednesday (January 24). At the meeting, Oldham Council planning officer Abiola Labisi explained that the ground floor of the building will serve as storage space while the first and second floors will be used to accommodate offices. In total, 32 parking spaces would be made available at the site, along with cycle storage space.
