Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal were both born in 1947. Among the other 44 ministers, the available data showed that at least nine ministers, including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Agriculture Minister Muhammad Abdur Ruzzeque, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, and State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed, were already in their 70s. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, 35, is the youngest member of the cabinet. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina picked 27 new faces among 47 ministers in cabinet for her third consecutive term.
