Ekkapong Chokchaiwitut, chief executive of Mother Marketing, said the petrol shortage in southern Thailand has intensified. Last week, some petrol stations capped refuelling at 500-1,000 baht per vehicle. Mr Ekkapong urged the government to tackle the petrol shortage urgently, noting that many stations have posted fuel shortage notices or are experiencing long queues.
