Oil prices have surged in global markets. On the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the price of Brent crude rose by $0.68 to $61.32 per barrel, The Caspian Post reports. Meanwhile, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of Light crude increased by $0.63, settling at $57.37 per barrel.
