Azimio leader Raila Odinga on Saturday claimed that he is the one in possession of the Ofafa Memorial Hall in Kisumu's title deed. Raila said this amid tussles over the ownership of the land that a faction of the Luo Council of Elders put claims to. He said the memorial hall remains the headquarters of the people of the Luo nation. "We know how the Ofafa memorial hall came to be and I remember together with my brother Senator Oburu Odinga, we used to water this area when constructions were going on". He stated that it was the reason why Odungi had to be coronated at the Ofafa Memorial Hall, the shrine of the Luo people on Friday, December 22.
