'Obese' bear removed from Pennsylvania club after living in poor conditions for 'possibly decades': report

An overweight bear that may have been living inside a small enclosure with poor conditions for “possibly decades” got a fresh start this week after being released to a Colorado animal sanctuary. “He’s been there for possibly decades,” Kent Drotar with the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg told the station. Dillon was released after several organizations, including actor Alec Baldwin, wrote to the governor and pressured the club to release the bear.
