The summit that will be held at Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani is expected to be a 'consecration' of the National Super Alliance (Nasa) flag-bearer Raila Odinga. "As you can recall, on October last year the national governing council endorsed the candidature of Raila Odinga but that was not enough as it had to be ratified by NDC. He said that the party's constitution stipulates that they hold a national delegate’s convention every five years. "As a party we are obliged to summon all our delegates to formally nominate a presidential flag-bearer and our Constitution stipulates that the party presidential candidate must be nominated by the delegates," he said.
