Ruto questioned why the Gachagua would ask youth to carry weapons to defend him, suggesting such statements were irresponsible and reduced young Kenyans to bodyguards. “Nimesikia mwingine juzi anawaambia vijana ati nyinyi nikienda mahali mchukue rungu na panga mkuje mniprotect,” Ruto said.
