MANILA, Philippines — There had been an additional 13 cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recorded in the country, bringing the total to 111, the Department of Health (DOH) said Saturday. In a statement, the DOH said that the information on the new cases is currently being validated. ADVERTISEMENTSuch information, the DOH added, will be released to the public as soon as it is available. Maria Rosario Vergeire announced that the Philippines has 98 cases of COVID-19. Because of growing cases of the disease, the World Health Organization considered the COVID-19 crisis as pandemic.
