Now, Facebook has upgraded its login security by integrating the FIDO u2F Security Key into its platform. That means that if you want to beef up the security on your Facebook account, you can use the security key as an added layer of protection. If you want to keep information secure from Facebook, you'll need to not provide information to Facebook. It does, however, create an extra layer of defense from anyone wishing to hijack your Facebook account (and the services you use through Facebook). To get started, pick up a security key--the FIDO u2F Security Key ($18) or YubiKey ($4o or $50) both work--and enable it in your Facebook Security Settings page.
