MUMBAI: Gurgaon-based gaming platform startup Nova Gaming Ventures is in talks with multiple investors to raise $5 million to fund its expansion plans. The company, which had launched its gaming platform NovaPlay in April this year, is now looking to expand into mobile gaming space, said Amitesh Rao , CEO. Ideally firms with an exposure to gaming or internet," Rao told ET.NovaPlay is India's first of its kind gaming platform that enables gaming enthusiasts to discover and legally purchase and download games. However, now the company wants to tap into the much more lucrative mobile gaming market, which is pegged between Rs 1200 and Rs 1,400 crore by industry experts. Close to 50 million people use their mobile devices to play games.
