Speaker of the Senate Amason Kingi now says the proposed dialogues between the state and the Opposition will be in vain. Speaking on Sunday at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County, Kingi however said President William Ruto's plan is a solution to the issue of the high cost of living. Nothing will come out of this called talks," he said. "But something will come out of this plan that the president has." He wondered why the issues, which are now pending in both houses of the Parliament, are raised as an agenda in such talks.
