Isle of Dogs opens this weekend. But – let me lean in here, I don’t want others to hear – what if you don’t like dogs? The subtitle, Tales from the Cat Show Circuit, will help distinguish it from the 1995 Christy Turlington doc. It stars a lovely white cat named Bobby, a very furry russet-coloured kitty named Oh La La, and their respective owners, Kim and Shirley. And as Bobby and Oh La La try to claw their way to first place, you’ll find yourself rooting for the underdog.
